This is my fifth year in the Jeannette Rankin library, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be part of such a wonderful staff. I am lucky to work with the fantastic teachers, students and parents at JRE!

I grew up in Missoula, attending Cold Springs, Meadow Hill, and Sentinel. I earned my BA in English - Literature from The University of Montana and my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from UNLV. I taught high school and middle school English in Las Vegas for several years before moving back to Missoula in 2008. Since then, I have taught study skills, composition and literature courses at UM and three online universities. I spent many years in product development for an online education curriculum provider writing language arts curriculum and as a course development manager.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jeff, and three kids: Cade, Pete and Kaysa. I love to read, travel, and spend time outdoors.
