Degrees and Certifications:

Erin Fuller

This is my first year in the Jeannette Rankin library, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be joining such a wonderful staff. I am lucky to work with the fantastic teachers, students and parents at JRE!

I grew up in Missoula, attending Cold Springs, Meadow Hill, and Sentinel. I earned my bachelor's degree in English literature from The University of Montana and my master's degree in curriculum and instruction from UNLV. I taught high school and middle school English in Las Vegas for several years before moving back to Missoula in 2008. Since then, I have taught study skills, composition and literature courses at UM and three online universities. I spent the last several years working in product development for an online education curriculum provider customizing ELA courses for each state.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jeff, and three kids: Cade, Pete and Kaysa. I love to read, travel, and spend time outdoors.

I hope everyone had a wonderful winter break! I have missed the kiddos and am excited to see them in the library again. Please check for library books that need to be returned. Some may have gotten a bit comfortable at home during the break. :)

Please start looking for those misplaced library books now. I will need all books to be returned to the library prior to our Winter Break. Students will not be allowed to check out books in January if they have books overdue from 2019. Thank you for your help!

If your students is participating in Battle of the Books, please check in with them and encourage them to continue reading Battle books. This activity is great fun, but only if teams have read the books. Have a great weekend!

Students are getting very excited for this year's Battle of the Books for grades 3-5! There are some great books to read, and students are able to explore genres they might not normally read. Stay tuned for the dates for the first battle in December.

    Happy reading!
