Hello Jeannette Rankin Elementary Families, 

I am the K-5 elementary art teacher at JRE. I have been an art educator for over 15 years in Missoula and internationally. I am thrilled to be making art with the creative kids at JRE!

Throughout the year, each grade will explore a variety of art mediums, such as; clay, paint, printmaking, sculpture, drawing and collage. Within each art lesson there is an opportunity for students to build on their skills, use their imagination, and gain confidence in expressing themselves. 

We love to hang student's vibrant artwork in the halls at school, but look for your kid's masterpieces as they will bring them home. When your child makes a piece of art, this is a great opportunity for them to share their creativity and to teach you about what they are learning in art class.
