My name is Meaghan Schrader, and I graduated from Montana State University-Billings with an M.Ed. in Elementary Education and from the University of Montana with a B.A. in History and Health Enhancement. I am in my 18th year of teaching Health Enhancement.
I believe that teaching is about relationships. It is about inspiring others to discover what they love to do and to incorporate their passions into their daily lives. I strive not only to inspire my students and the entire school community to love being active, show kindness, and embrace positivity, but also to be reciprocally inspired by them. I want to set my students up for lifelong success in the broadest sense. I want them to develop a love of learning and the confidence that they can always learn new things – mentally, physically and emotionally. Moreover, I want them to learn to laugh, and to understand that taking care of our bodies and minds shows respect for ourselves.
I love biking, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family!
