  • My name is Yer Thao, I am looking forward to my 11th year teaching Kindergarten at Hawthorne.  I grew up in Missoula and graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor in Elementary Education. I also have a Masters in Reading and Mathematics.

  • Fundraiser for Hawthorne

    Skip the cooking and help raise funds for Hawthorne School!  Grab a quick meal at either restaurant location Five on Black on Tuesday, January 28th between 3:00-8:00 p.m. and help raise funds for our school.  They are donating back 50% of all profits to Hawthorne.  All you have to do is tell the cashier that you are there for Hawthorne School.  It’s that easy!  Please spread the word with your friends and family!  See you Tuesday!

  • Parent Voulenteer Information

    If you would like to volunteer to accompany us on any of the field trips or in the classroom, you may visit with Megan Myers in the FRC to fill out the volunteer paperwork or register online thru the district website. Please let me know after you get all your paperwork in.  Volunteering in the classroom will start in October.  I would love to have parent volunteers!
