Hello!
My name is Stacy Holden and I am a counselor at Jeannette Rankin Elementary.
The comprehensive counseling program at Jeannette Rankin Elementary follows the American School Counselor Association's National Model. I provide classroom social-emotional lessons every other week to grade 4 on a wide range of subjects, including: goal-setting, problem solving, emotional regulation, friendship skills and career exploration. I also spend my time working with students in small groups. These small groups focus on: changing families, friendship skills, worry and anxiety, and self-esteem. In addition, I provide individual counseling on a short-term basis (6-8 weeks).
A little about me personally is I am married and have two wonderful children, Max, who is 13 and Ben, who is 9. We love spending time outside, hiking, camping and taking our dogs Louie and Penny on walks. I am originally from Spokane and attended Eastern Washington University (Go Eags!). My husband and I moved to Missoula eighteen years ago and I have been a school counselor for sixteen years and this is my first year in the Behavior Interventionist role. I have worked both at the high school level and elementary level and am convinced that I have the best job ever!
I am at Jeannette Rankin Monday-Friday from 8-4. I can be reached at:
