2020-2021 School YearEmail: firstname.lastname@example.orgPhone: (406) 728-2400 extension 4374Hi! My name is Rachel Mosbacher (moss-bock-er). Kiddos usually call me Miss M.
I was fortunate to grow up in Missoula, MT. After graduating from Sentinel High School in 2011 I decided to pursue my education degree at The University of Montana, go Griz!
I graduated with honors with a degree in elementary education and a concentration in early childhood on December 18, 2015. Starting in February of 2016 until the end of the year I taught kindergarten at Cold Springs (now Jeannette Rankin). I was incredibly blessed to land my first full year teaching at Lewis and Clark Elementary as a first grade teacher for the 2016-2017 school year. My journey continued at Lewis and Clark as a third grade teacher as I taught third grade in the 2017-2018 school year. I will continue being a third grade teacher at Lewis and Clark and I couldn't be more excited! This will be my fifth year at Lewis and Clark and it's going to be a blast!
I am currently in my final year of graduate school and will receive my Masters of Art in Integrated Arts and Education in the summer of 2021.
I am dating a really rad Californian (Jordan), so I am usually exploring California quite a bit. I have an older brother (Christopher) who is married to my wonderful sister-in-law (Madeline). They live in Seattle, another frequent place I visit! My parents (Becky and Tim) are retired teachers who live in Missoula. My dad just completed his 50th marathon in 50 states, woah!
Some of my hobbies and interests outside of teaching include: baking, rooting for the Indianapolis Colts, making arts and crafts, graphic design, eating tubs of ice-cream, cycling, dancing like a maniac, creative writing, records, reading millions of books, bocce ball, corn hole, drinking tea, smelling wildflowers, candles, Girl Scout cookies, interior design, concerts (I collect concert posters), being outside, and traveling. My philosophy entails that all students are entitled to a demanding, applicable, and high-quality education, all students have to right to succeed, lastly, establishing positive relationships with families and their children is significant.
