    I was born in Billings, Montana and graduated from Billings Senior High School.  I earned a degree from the University of Montana in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading Analysis, and a Kindergarten - 12th grade Reading Endorsement.  While in college, I ran cross country, as well as indoor, and outdoor track for the Montana Grizzlies.  This is my eleventh year at Franklin Elementary.  I taught first grade my first year, fourth grade for eight years, and second grade last year.  When I am not teaching, I like to travel, camp, backpack, fly fish, play tennis, run, skate ski, read, and spend as much time outside as possible.
