    Hello! My name is Maygan and I am a 5th grade teacher at Russell. This is my fourth year at Russell and my first year teaching 5th grade. For the past three years I taught reading and math interventions. I'm excited to be back in my own classroom.

    I am married to my best friend and we have two boys. Bryton is 18 and in Boot Camp for the Marines. Zander is 11 and in 5th grade here at Russell. I grew up in Montana. I attended the University of Montana where I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, I moved to Arizona and taught kindergarten for three years. I spent 13 years working at the University of Montana in Teacher Education. I had the pleasure of working with future teachers, but my heart has always wanted to be back in the classroom.

    I am a life-long learner and in 2020 I graduated with my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Being back in the classroom has given me so much joy!
