I grew up in small-town Wisconsin and remain a loyal cheesehead. I choose to attend the University of Montana in Missoula because of the mountains, rivers, and public land. I wanted a place in which I could pursue my numerous outdoor passions of hunting, fishing, canoeing, backpacking, etc. I completed my degree in English and a teaching certificate at UM. I earned a Master's in Curriculum & Instruction with a Minor in Adolescent Literacy from Concordia University. I feel incredibly honored to have landed at Willard Alternative High School.
