WELCOME TO 3rd Grade!

HELLO! My name is Jolyne O’Brien, and I am blessed to be your child’s teacher this year. I grew up in Spokane, Washington and graduated from Eastern Washington. GO EAGLES!   I graduated with my BA in elementary education with a specialist degree as a Reading Specialist. This is my 17th year teaching elementary. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Mike and my four children. I love to travel, shop, and read. I hope to one day write a book and become an children's author.  

This is our fourth year as a Leader in Me school.  This is an exciting adventure where we will continue to learn and live the 7 Habits.  Most of all, l I value the time I get to spend with your children each day.  Thank you for sharing their gifts and talents with me as we travel on this journey of learning together.  My goal is to help create life-long learners who embrace innovation, creativity, challenges, and achieve goals.  May I offer them as much this year as they offer me.  With a "I CAN" attitude, the top is not out of reach. I look forward to getting to know each child, their strengths, talents, and see them grow in all academic and social emotional areas.
