Weekly Newsletter

    • Hello Families!
It was great getting to meet with so many of you for conferences. Thank you for taking this time to connect with me. Since next week is a short week, I will not send home a homework letter. Please continue to have your child read for at least 30 minutes each day. Tomorrow, November 17th is a Stuffy Day! Our class gets to go to a Lady Griz Basketball game on Wednesday Dec. 6th. It is a free event for students sponsored by The University. Students have the opportunity to buy a box of popcorn for the game. This must be purchased ahead of time. If you want to purchase popcorn, please send $1.50 before November 28th. Due to the number of schools/students/staff attending this game, my class does not have additional seating for parent chaperones. Rest assured, there will be other field trip opportunities  this year for chaperoning field trips. Thank you!

      Academics:
ELA - We finished The Athabascans: Old Ways and New Ways. We started reading The Year of Miss Agnes. This text teaches readers how writers use a character’s dialogue and actions to affect the events in a story.
Math - We are continuing to work on Order and Grouping to Multiply.
