After graduating from the University of Montana in1990, I spent my first six years teaching in Everett, WA and Arlee, MT. I began teaching at Chief Charlo in 1996! This is my 35th year as a classroom teacher. My experience includes teaching first through fifth grades.My husband, Pat, and I are native Montanans. Pat is the business director for MCPS. We feel fortunate to have raised our sons, Matt and Ryan, in Missoula near both of our extended families. We spend lots of time hiking, biking, skiing, following the Griz (not to mention the Fighting Irish!), and gathering at our family cabin at Georgetown Lake. We especially love our time with our boys, their wives and our grandson Nolan. We are incredibly lucky that they live near enough to see them often!I am looking forward to our year together!
