BJ Ihde, 6-8 Assistant Principal of the Online Academy:

I spent the first 10 years of my career working with students with disabilities. I have worked with Resource students as well as students with Emotional Disturbances. I have also been a 6th grade English, Social Studies, and Health Enhancement teacher. Most recently I was an instructional coach working with Middle School and High School English and Science. In my spare time (haha) I enjoy all things sports and spending time with my two amazing boys!

My name is Jenna Briggs and I am excited to be part of the adventure of MOA this year! My hope is that it will be a great year for learning and growth for everyone.

I have spent the last eleven years (five at MCPS and six in Idaho Falls) as a district-level instructional coach, partnering with K-5 teachers around curriculum, professional development, and classroom instruction.  In addition to instructional coaching I have spent a variety of years as a teacher in the elementary school, middle school, and at the collegiate level .

I look forward to partnering with you and your family to create a supportive environment where children feel valued and successful.  Please reach out at any time.
