Welcome to Paxson Elementary in beautiful Missoula, Montana. Paxson serves approximately 380 students in grades K-5.
 
Paxson Mission 
 
The mission of Paxson Elementary is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to grow and thrive.  We facilitate meaningful learning experiences and encourage our students to stretch their thinking by considering a variety of perspectives and possibilities.  In addition, our students stretch their abilities by challenging themselves physically, socially, and academically.  As a community of life-long learners and citizens of the globe, we all stretch.

  • The Student Board of the Missoula Education Foundation is looking for outstanding elementary teachers.  One will be chosen as the MCPS elementary educator of the year.   To nominate an elementary educator you believe worthy of recognition, please go to www.mcpsmt.org  to complete a nomination form. Nominations may be submitted on line or by hard copy to our school office.  Deadline is Friday, May 16.
