MCPS is dedicated to providing students and staff with a secure, safe environment.  All MCPS schools will create a safe school climate through the implementation of the Montana Behavior Initiative (MBI).  Through MBI, each building will assess school climate using Student Voice or other school climate surveys and student focus groups.  MCPS will continue reinforcing a policy that is everyone's responsibility to help develop and maintain a respectful, safe school environment, reinforcing positive behaviors by teachers, students, and staff in the school and building partnerships with individuals, groups, and organizations that can offer support and assistance to students and staff.
