Week of March 28th

It has been so great to be with your kids this week after a much needed break. I personally am feeling energized and ready to finish off our time together strong. This week we have spent lots of time talking about preparing for second grade- both behaviorally and academically. We have also talked about personal goals that we need to work on such as self control, organizational skills, and taking responsibility, all of which contribute to making our learning environment better. 

 
Here are a few important reminders:
  • Today we had our class picture taken. I sent home a form with your child today that tells how to order a copy if you are interested.
  • Please return your child's manila envelope that had all of their assessments and report cards in it. We will reuse them.
  • This week we started working on fluency in math for doubles and partners of 10. This was their first timed test.  It is important that they have these facts memorized. Their scores were sent home today. We will do these once a week.
