About Mr. Campbell
Hello everyone!
My name is Zachary Campbell. I am a profoundly Deaf teacher with a Cochlear Implant (CI). I was born in a small town in Northern California (between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe), and I received my Bachelors in History and Political Science, as well as a Masters in History, from California State University: Northridge. I am currently receiving my Masters in Teaching with an emphasis on Secondary Education from Liberty University in Virginia. I am very excited to teach United States History and Government this year!
While I am young, I have many years of experience in education. I come from a long line of teachers, so school has always been a second home for me. I had an incredible experience in my school with amazing and caring teachers, and so I hope to give the same experience to your children. When I was 14 years old, I started teaching in a Summer School and I have continued to do so until I moved to Missoula. Once in Missoula, I became a substitute teacher for the MCPS district, then became a Paraeducator at Hellgate High School. I am so excited to be able to teach this year, here at Big Sky!
I have an open-door policy, so please drop by if you have any questions or concerns. I do not have a phone, so email is the best way to reach me. My email address is zcampbell@mcpsmt.org
If I am not teaching, you could find me hanging out with my wife, hiking, reading, discussing history and Star Wars with anyone who is willing to listen, and playing board games with my friends!
Let's have a fantastic 2023-2024 year!
