Greetings mathematicians!

I'm excited to be here at Big Sky teaching math. I am teaching Algebra 1 and Financial Math.This is my first year teaching math in public school; but I've taught, tutored and worked in math at Blackfeet Community College, in both Browning and Bozeman Public Schools, and student taught Geometry and Algebra at Willard High School. 

I'm originally from Kalispell, but have lived all around the state. While math education is old love of mine; I'm a bit of jack of all trades who has enjoyed the rambling path of life. I've worked as a boat captain, a chauffer, a trails boss, a science filmmaker, and a small business owner. My son is a senior at Hellgate.

I encourage you to be curious, be willing to try your best even if you are confused, and remember sometimes the best way to learn is through making mistakes and persevering.
