My name is Darcie Vasquez, and this is my first year at Lewis and Clark.  I just moved back to Missoula after living in Washington in the greater Seattle area since I graduated from the U of M in 1991.  I have taught Kindergarten-3rd grade during my teaching career.  I have 2 wonderful children- ages 19 and 24, who still reside in Washington.  My best friend is my dog, Scout- who enjoys hiking and playing fetch. She also LOVES to swim- and will jump in any body of water that she sees. I am enjoying teaching first grade at Lewis and Clark, and I am very blessed to call Montana home once again. I recently picked up snowshoeing, and love anything in the great outdoors.  Teaching literacy is also passion of mine, so first grade is a perfect place for me!
