Hello Big Sky Students and Families,
Welcome back to school! My name is Crissina Quinn and this is my second year as the Dean of Students at Big Sky. I graduated from Big Sky in 2009 (go Eagles!) and attended both university systems for degrees in secondary education and a master's in Educational Leadership.
We are excited to get this school year started off with a sense of normalcy. We would like to remind you of the Eagle Code: Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Resilient, BE AN EAGLE. Most importantly, we want to encourage our students to strengthen their sense of resiliency and advocate for themselves by seeking out resources or supports that will help guide them toward a successful 2021-22 school year.
As the Dean of students, my overall objective is to ensure students are successful at Big Sky by maximizing their academic potential. I monitor behavior, attendance, student achievement, and promote a positive school environment. It is my goal to ensure that students at Big Sky are known, supported, and motivated. I pride myself on advocacy for all students and strive to provide the resources necessary for academic, social, and behavioral success.
I look forward to getting to know all of you. Please contact me with any questions or concerns regarding academics, attendance, student achievement, student involvement, or any other school policies or procedures. Let’s all have a safe and fantastic school year!
