Mrs. Mary Pat Malerk

My husband and I are the proud parents of 2 sons, Kyle and Ryan, who graduated from Cold Springs Elementary, CS Porter Middle School and the University of Montana! Go GRIZ!

We are fortunate that Kyle and Ryan found wonderful wives! Our family expanded with daughter-in-laws, Jessica and Katlyn, and 2 Granddaughters, Nora (2 years old) and Aelin (1 1/2 years old), with another Granddaughter due in November! So, I am getting used to the name Grandma!

Our family moved to Missoula from Heidelberg, Germany, in 1995 when my husband, Don, was in charge of ROTC at the Univeristy of Montana.

We LOVE living in Montana and it is confirmed every time we travel. No place like home!

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from West Chester University, near Philadlephia. Yes, the Philadelphis Eagles are my favorite pro football team!

I earned my Masters of Education degree in Higher Education/Adult Training and Development from the University of Oklahoma in 1992.

In 1997, I earned my K-12 Administrative and Montana Special Education Teaching certificates at the University of Montana.

Over the years, I coached soccer and track. I love to be active and outdoors. I enjoy gardening and baking too.

I enjoy watching our students expand their abilities when they learn new things, be it in the classroom or on the playing field.

I enjoy working at Meadow Hill Middle School and love the teachers, students and families.

Every day is a new day and full of adventures!
