Coordinator, Health Science Academy
This is my third year at Big Sky - in this decade. I taught science at Big Sky for 8 years in the 90's then took about 20 years off to teach college field courses and lead fisheries field crews. I now coordinate Big Sky's Health Science Academy, guiding students in work-based learning experiences in the Missoula community.
I earned a B.S. in Geology and Natural Science at the University of Puget Sound then completed an M.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana.
My husband and I have lived in Missoula for 30 years and are lucky to have two amazing daughters: a senior at Hellgate and a senior at Bard College.
I am at Big Sky on gold days only. You are always welcome to email or call with questions. I usually respond to email quickly, especially if you use my mcpsmt.org email; the best way to reach me via phone is my cell rather than through the school phone system.
In 2019/20 I'm looking forward to a great year at Big Sky!
