I have been a teacher in the MCPS district for 25 years. The first five years of my career were at Meadow Hill Middle School, teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I then transferred to Chief Charlo Elementary School, where I taught both 3rd and 4th grade for the next 15 years. While working on my doctoral degree in education, I had the opportunity to teach for a year at the University of Montana. Upon my return to MCPS, I decided to work with middle school students again. Which led me to Washington Middle School. This year will be my fifth year teaching 8th grade at WMS.
When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have two children and a dog. Our daughter, Jayden, is a freshman at Montana State University, and our son, Jack, is a senior at Washington State University. Our dog, Mulligan, is an eight-year-old golden retriever. We love to travel, boat on Flathead Lake, and go to Griz games.
