Brian has been teaching at the Hawthorne for the past five years.  Before that he spent eight years as the Naturalist for the Montana Natural History Center, teaching science as a guest instructor in 4^th grade classrooms around Western Montana.  Brian enjoys camping, watching birds and catching butterflies with his wife, Carin, and two kids, Jack and Ada (who are also Hawthorne students!)
