• Sentinel High School

    Ted Fuller, Principal
Welcome to Smart Schools 2020, a system wide initiative to create school facilities that provide students with the security, technology and dynamic learning environment they need to achieve in school and in life. As your principal, I'm pleased to say that Sentinel High School is part of that initiative and is planning significant and much-needed changes over the next few years.
Sentinel High School has many deferred maintenance issues, including replacement of the existing boiler (originally installed in 1956) and theatre upgrades.  Undersized and outdated classrooms need renovating and relocating to meet the demands of 21st century teaching and learning for students and staff.
Our proposal serves to provide students with the necessary tools and facilities to meet their 21st century educational needs.  Completing all deferred maintenance of Sentinel High School will provide safety and security for students, staff and community members.
In order to address this key issue, Sentinel High School has conducted a thoughtful scoping process and is proposing an option that will provide the upgraded technology infrastructure, renovating the 400 Building and 300 Building, theatre upgrades and updated learning areas to support 21st-century learning.
We invite you to learn more about the plan, and get involved in shaping the future of education for our children.  Please feel free to email tefuller@mcps.k12.mt.us or call me with questions.

The School Board has approved our preferred option, pending the passage of a facilities levy in 2015! Learn more about our goals and proposal>
