Welcome to Meadow Hill Middle School!

The 2017-2018 school year is off to a great start. I’m excited to work with your outstanding student(s), and a creative and energetic staff. With high academic expectations and a wide variety of activities available, each student at Meadow Hill Middle School will experience personal growth and flourish both academically and individually.  I am looking forward to teaming with you, your child and staff to have a great year!

I have been in education for over 15 years, beginning as a PreK-3rd grade Teacher and Site Director for Kinderhaus Montessori for a couple of years. I transitioned to the public school system and taught 5th grade at Target Range, and 9 years as a kindergarten teacher at Russell School. Upon completion of my masters, I accepted the Curriculum Coordinator position for MCPS, where I worked at the central office for 3 years. I quickly realized how much I missed working with students and families, and was eager to transition back to a building. This is my fourth year at Meadow Hill Middle School and I feel truly blessed to be working with such dynamic students, families, and staff.
One of my roles at Meadow Hill Middle School is organization of the Athletic Program. Meadow Hill offers opportunities for 7th & 8th graders in Soccer, Basketball, and Volleyball; and ALL students, 6th, 7th & 8th graders, can participate in Wrestling and Track & Field. Please check out the ACTIVITIES page for more information.
On a personal note, I have two wonderful children. Tyler is a graduate of Big Sky High School and now is a commercial fisherman in AK...following his true passion for fishing and being outdoors. Tia is a sophmore at Sentinel High School and loves soccer, social time with friends, and her little Shorkie, Bellamy.  love to camp, travel and spend time with my family. I also enjoy some down time to read and paint.
I look forward to meeting and working with all of you and your students this year. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I can be reached by phone at (406) 728-2400 ext. 4488 or via e-mail at amvaneps@mcps.k12.mt.us
    Have a Fantastic Year!!
