•  Mrs. Shoen-Slater

    ¡Hola!

My name is Liz Shoen-Slater, better known as "Señora Slater".  I am in my eighth year of teaching Spanish at Lewis and Clark Elementary.  I have the privilege of teaching all of the students at Lewis and Clark.

I have taught all ages of students and levels of Spanish over the past 24 years - from adult learners, to high school and middle school students, and K-5 students. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family.  We love to hike, camp, travel and perform music.

Our Lewis and Clark students are enthusiastic about learning an additional language and have retained a lot from the previous years of study in our program -  ¡BUEN TRABAJO!  Parents - I encourage you to ask your child to teach you what they are learning in Spanish class.  The more they practice at home, the better they learn and retain the language.

    ¡Muchas gracias!

    Señora Slater
