Heather Agostinelli

Hi! My name is Heather Agostinelli and I have been teaching at C.S. Porter since 2014. Before teaching at Porter, I taught in Helena for ten years. Before that I taught in Nampa, Idaho, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Townsend, Montana. My husband, two daughters, and I love living here in Missoula where we enjoy all of the great outdoor activities the area has to offer.

This year I will be teaching 7th grade Language Arts and Social Studies.  I can't wait to meet all the students and I welcome frequent parent communication.

Hi CS Porter 7th Grade Families!

I hope you are all well and exploring some of your own unique interests while we are out of our classrooms. As we all learn how to make this remote learning work best for us, please know that we will all need to be forgiving and flexible with each other. If there was ever a time for growth mindset, it is now! I have to admit, blogging and maintaining my staff webpage is not my strength, however, I am going to give it a try.

We are still figuring out what school will look like in the coming weeks, but there are two main things I want you to know:

    1. You can contact me for any concerns or questions you have. Email probably works best, but there is a way for me to check my school voicemail from home if it is easier to leave me a voicemail. We can also give Google Chat a try. I am here and I am working!

    2. My main method for communicating school "stuff" for our classes will be through Google Classroom, so please check there for the latest!

What I really hope your are all doing during this time is staying healthy, spending time with your families, getting some fresh air, exploring hobbies, finding ways to socialize with your friends (from a distance), and keeping your brain engaged. I hope to see you either on video or face to face soon! I miss you guys!

    Mrs. Agostinelli
