Welcome to 5th grade! My name is Lori Grant and I am proud to teach 5th grade at Paxson Elementary. This will be my 21st year in the teaching profession and 9th year as part of the Paxson family. I have taught third, fifth, and sixth grades. In addition, I spent three years as an Instructional Coach mentoring new teachers and providing professional development opportunities for teachers at MCPS. I grew up in Connecticut and graduated from The University of Montana. In addition, I earned my Master's Degree in Literacy from The University of New England. When I am not teaching, I enjoy time with my family skiing, hiking, spending time on the lake, and reading. I look forward to a wonderful year.
