Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. I'm so happy to be back on a regular school schedule and to be a member of the awesome Jeannette Rankin staff. I began my career 30 years ago at Cold Springs in first grade and feel incredibly blessed to be back and in my third year at JRE.
A little bit about me...I am a Montana native and received my undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Montana. I received my National Board Certification in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy in 2008. I have spent most of my career at MCPS, most recently teaching second grade at Franklin School.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family hiking, camping, skiing, boating and swimming in our beautiful lakes and rivers. I feel so lucky to live in Montana, teaching such fun, bright children and getting to know their families. Enjoy this school year watching your children learn and grow. They are a gift.
