Welcome to First Grade

  • Welcome, First Grade Families! I am so happy to be back at Franklin Elementary this year.

My name is Erin Asay. I’m 34 years old and grew up in a small town called Manhattan, Montana. I came to the University of Montana in Missoula for college, and fell in love with the town, rivers and mountains, and community. I’ve taught Kindergarten and First Grade at Seeley Lake Elementary, The Missoula Online Academy, and Franklin Elementary, and this year will be my lucky 12th year of teaching. I love to hike, read, dance, and spend time on our beautiful waters. I have a sweet puppy named Magnolia. My favorite part of being a teacher is building relationships, and I am so grateful to be able to work with your family this year. Looking forward to a year of learning and growth together! Please reach out any time.

One of my favorite things to do in the summer is be at a river! This is our puppy, Magnolia. She is a 5 month old goldendoodle.
