Library Media

Library reading is voluntary and self-instructed. Because students in the same school (and even grade) mature at different times, our library collections offer a wide spectrum of materials for students to practice understanding varying perspectives, thinking critically, and reading for recreational and person interest, as well as learning and growing in factual knowledge and literary appreciation.

Library Program Overviews

The Missoula County Public Schools library media program offers a diverse selection of materials to support both academic learning and recreational reading. Because students mature at different rates, library exploration is entirely voluntary and self-instructed. This approach gives students a safe environment to practice critical thinking, explore personal interests, and develop into independent readers.
