WELCOME TO MISSOULA COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS! WE LOOK FORWARD TO SUPPORTING AND WORKING WITH YOU IN THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR!
MCPS & MEA New Faculty Program Overview
Missoula County Public Schools, in partnership with the Missoula Education Association, supports new faculty through the MCPS & MEA Mentoring & Induction program. This program offers new faculty support via mentoring, instructional coaching, opportunities for learning walks, and professional learning. With the assistance of the Academic & Community Services instructional coaches, each mentor guides and supports their new faculty member using provided checklists, surveys, and feedback loops at the various stages of the school year, as well as reflecting on the process along the way. The end goal of this program is to provide all new faculty members with an improved sense of belonging in our district as well as physical, emotional, instructional, and institutional support leading to higher rates of retention and job satisfaction.
