• I hope you all are staying warm, safe, and healthy!

Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up next week- if you have not already, please let me know if you would like to have a conference to discuss your child's progress. I have time open on Wednesday from 4:00-6:00, and on Thursday from 1:00-4:00.

Following Conferences, we will have Spring Break, which means no school from March 17th- March 24th, and we will return to school on March 27th. Please take this time to relax, refresh, and spend some time with your families, if you are able.

As always, please let me know if you have questions, concerns, or any other information that you would like to share with me. You know your child best, and I always love to learn from your practices and routines that work for you at home.

    Have a great week!

  • I hope you are all staying safe and warm with this influx of snow and cold weather. Just an update for you of how things are going in the Extended Resource classroom:

February includes Valentine's Day- we will primarily be celebrating with the students' general education classes, so please watch for information from their teachers. Reminders will be sent in the February newsletter as well.

Please feel free to keep me updated of any changes in home life- anything that you want to share will help me to understand behavior better, and will help me to provide an appropriate environment for your child.

Our schedules have remained the same since Winter Break and it seems to be going well. Our students are in their classrooms more, which is allowing them to build positive relationships and their social skills with their peers.

Have a great rest of the week, and please let me know if you have any questions, concerns, or comments that I can help with.

  • Halloween is coming up soon!

Please note the following about Halloween costumes at school:

No weapons, no blood, or masks/make-up that make a student’s face unidentifiable.

We will be having our own Halloween celebration in our classroom on Monday, the 31st, as well as participating in the classroom's Halloween parties, if they have them. Please feel free to only bring treats for one of the parties, if you would like to bring any at all.

Our classroom Halloween party will include dancing, games, and decorating Halloween treats. If you do not want your child to participate for any reason, just let me know and they will do other fun activities that are not related to Halloween.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

  • Please always feel free to email me if you have any questions or concerns about your child or the program. It is always easiest to get in touch via email, but if you would prefer in-person please let me know and we can set up a meeting. Thanks!
