Welcome from Ms. Oberreuter

Hi! Amie Oberreuter here. I am beyond excited to fill in for Mrs. Olson as the long term 5th grade sub.  I just moved to Montana  with my dog, Zoey, a German shepherd.  We have already have taken many hikes and even met a bear on a trail!  Besides hiking I love to cook/bake, read, keep up with my favorite tv series, travel (most recently I got  to spend the summer over in the United Kingdom and Ireland), and spend time with my family and friends.  

I received my Master’s in Education and have been a teacher for 11 years.  My teaching experience has been from around the country.  In Iowa, I taught 5th grade and a private learning pod where I had 10 students in grades 1st through 5th.  Prior to Iowa, I lived in Texas and taught 3rd grade and Kindergarten (a Dual Language Program).  I have also lived in Florida, where I taught 1st grade (a International Baccalaureate Program), Massachusetts where I taught at a community college working with students who had a learning disability on their reading and writing, and in Colorado where I taught 6th grade, 1st grade, 3rd grade, and was also reading specialist.  I have also been an Instructional Coach in Houston.
