Welcome to Kindergarten!
My name is Clarke McGibben (Ms. McGibben or Ms. M) and this is my second year at Paxson and my 9th year teaching! I love kindergarten because it sets the foundation for a love of learning and success for the future! Plus, we spend a lot of time making friends and learning how to be a safe, responsible, respectful, and kind members of our community.
I grew up in the Bitterroot Valley before attending Portland State University and earning a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences. After starting a job teaching in an early preschool back in Missoula, I decided to return to school. I earned a dual M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education at The University of Montana. I currently live in Missoula with my dog, Milo, and enjoy fishing, hiking, golfing, cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
