BA Elementary Education

Mrs. Alicia St Clair

Welcome to Kindergarten! This is a fun and exciting year for learning.  I am so excited about being your teacher. I graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, WV with a degree in Elementary Education and Prek-K. I had several long-term substitute positions in Prek and K in Leavenworth, Kansas before taking a job in Bonner Springs, Kansas, teaching Kindergarten and serving as a math tutor. I then had several years off to raise my two children as we continued to move around the country as a military family. I began teaching again in California, where I taught 2nd and 3rd grade combo classes for five years and then a 2/3/4 combo class and finally a Tk, K,1,2 combo.  This will be my second year teaching Kindergarten at Rattlesnake Elementary, I am so excited. . I am also working toward my Masters in Education Learning and Technology from WGU.

Kindergarten is such an exciting time. Students are learning to be away from home for a few hours a day and beginning to practice social and academic skills with their peers. I am so blessed to be a part of that transition.
