• We appreciate your help in keeping our school safe.  Pick up and Drop off GO! Zone Information School drop off and pick up procedures.
  • Please remember that the street lanes adjacent to the school yard along Gerald and Hastings are drop off and pick up zones only, not parking. Follow the signs on the top of the fence: pull forward to the Go! Zone, adults stay in the car, students exit/enter the car curbside in the Go! Zone. The Go! Zones were created to increase street safety for all students. We appreciate your help in keeping the cars flowing through them. Please park along other streets if you would like to walk your student to the gate.
  • Remind your student to stay in their line-up area and maintain social distance with masks on while waiting for the morning bell.
  • Parents should not enter the school yard at drop off or pick up.

• Here are our guidelines and expectations for Halloween school day on 10/29, Friday:
  • Students will wear regular clothes to school and bring their costumes to change into for the parade.
  • Costumes must conform to the Paxson School Dress Code.
  • Costumes may not be demeaning to any ethnic group, race, religion, nationality, disabilities, gender, or individual (staff or student) at the school.
  • Costumes may not cause a disruption or distraction to the school program.
  • No weapons, toy weapons, or props replicating weapons (sorry no light sabers either!) are to be brought to school.
  • No costumes are allowed that would completely hide the identity of the student, i.e. Hazmat suit, gorilla suit, "Scream" character. Face paint shouldn’t cover more than 50% of the face (again we want to know who you are).
  • No full face masks are permitted (they may not be worn OR carried)
  • Students are expected to wear their typical face coverings/masks at all times when inside the school, even with costumes.
  • Classroom celebrations will be craft & game oriented.  

  Each grade level team will communicate their plans and expectations with you.  The PTA will provide a bag of Pirate's Booty for each student along with a few other snacks donated by your community. Please no candy or sugary treats at school.
