The 100th Day is Here!
Friday, February 7, 2020 is our 100th day of school. We will be exploring the number 100 all day with many great activities!
1: Please help your child count out 100 small food items into a zip top bag to bring to school by Tuesday, February 4th. These items will be used in our class trail mix. Some ideas are: pretzels, M&M’s, Skittles, Cheerios, mini marshmallows, chocolate kisses, raisins, etc.
2: Please help your child count out 100 small (smaller than a quarter) items to make a 100 poster. We will be making the posters in class so please send in the 100 items in a zip top bag. This item can be anything that is light enough to be glued onto a poster board. Some examples are: stickers, puff balls, buttons, puzzle pieces, popsicle sticks, etc.
3: Have your child come to school dressed up as if they are 100 years old on February 7th.
We are retelling stories. We are focusing on characters and their reactions to the events in the stories. We read several different books about gingerbread men and compared them. Ask your kiddo which one was their favorite. We are excited to make our own gingerbread men next week.
We did our unit 2 math assessment. The letter in the Thursday Folder explains what we will be focusing on in our next unit.
