    Hi Families!

I have posted this weeks assignments in your classroom teacher's Google Classroom.  When you log into Google Classroom it will show you the assignment(s) that were assigned today and when they are due.  Each day a new assignment(s) will be posted. If you need help finding or working on an assignment, please let me know so I can help you with your problem.

    Fourth and Fifth Grade Friends:

If you are in just a reading or just a math group you will only see one assignment from me per day.  If you are in a reading and a math group you will see two assignments from me per day.

It's going to be a great week!

  • Google Read Write

Posted by Danielle Mizner on 4/3/2020

Google Read Write is a great tool you can use at home.  All MCPS students have access to it.  Students should have a little purple puzzle piece to the right of the website link bar.  When a student clicks on the puzzle piece it opens up Google Read Write.  This is an extension that will read what is on the page to a student and allow him/her to take notes on the page.

Below is a link that explains more about it, and how to install it on your computer if it is not there.  The puzzle piece will only show up if a student is logged into their MCPS google account.

  • Welcome!

Posted by Danielle Mizner on 9/6/2019

    Welcome Back To School!!

Welcome back to school!  I hope that you’ve had a fantastic summer and are gearing up for an incredible school year!

This summer I went on a bunch of camping trips and enjoyed time with my family and friends on Georgetown Lake.  I can’t wait to hear about your summer fun!

    A little bit about me:

    • I have three younger brothers named Anthony, Kevin, and Brian.  Anthongy lives in England with his family, Kevin is in the Air Force living in Germany with his wife, and Brian  lives in New Jersey.
    • My husband and I bought our first house last November, and over the summer we worked on remodeling our kitchen.
    • I love all kinds of chocolate and drink lots of coffee.
    • I'm always looking for new books to read, so if you read a good one recently please share it with me! I'll share my favorite books with you!

Just a reminder Russell School policy is to keep home toys and fidgets at home.  I will be enforcing that policy in my classroom. Don’t worry though I have plenty of school fidget options for you to use.  This way home fidgets stay at home and school fidgets stay at school.

We are going to have a great school year!
