Hello, my name is Samuel McKenzie.  This is my fifth year at Meadow Hill and I am very excited about working with these wonderful students.  I also direct the Jazz Band at Meadow Hill as well as co-directing the All-City Winds in Missoula.  I attended The University of Montana where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Percussion Performance and Music Education.  I also attended The University of Akron where I earned a Master’s in Percussion Performance and a Master’s in Wind Band Conducting.  I continue to work as the Drumline Instructor for The University of Montana Drumline and perform with the Missoula Symphony and several bands in Missoula.  I enjoy golfing, camping, hanging out with my family and cheering on my beloved Minnesota Vikings.
